Dr. Kristopher Goddard, an East Tennessee native, strives to provide his patients with exceptional care in integrative and osteopathic manipulative medicine by incorporating training from traditional medicine, acupuncture, and alternative medicine.Dr. Goddard compassionately seeks to promote health and wellbeing by assisting your body’s own natural health and self-healing through the treatment of the whole body while understanding the interconnection of all body systems and the effect of each on the other, focusing on nutrition, the musculoskeletal system, identifying and correcting structural problems, implementing the non-pharmaceutical approach, utilizing nonsurgical and natural treatments through osteopathic manipulative treatment (OMT), prolotherapy, platelet rich plasma (PRP) injections, acupuncture, and developing attitudes and lifestyles that help fight illness and prevent disease. OMT combined with all other aspects of medicine provides for the most comprehensive care available in medicine today.Having earned a Bachelor of Science degree with a major in Biochemistry and minors in Mathematics and Religious Studies at The University of Tennessee, Knoxville, Dr. Goddard continued his education at NSU-COM in Davie, Florida graduating with a Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine degree. Additionally, Dr. Goddard completed the Leadership Training Program for Complementary and Alternative Medicine sponsored by National Institutes for Health (NIH) at the Omega Institute for Holistic Studies, Medical Acupuncture for Physicians through UCLA, Prolotherapy, and Cranial coursework. While in medical school, Dr. Goddard completed a fellowship in Anatomy, a predoctoral fellowship in Osteopathic Principles and Practice as well as participated in multiple conferences and fellowships. Dr. Goddard considers continuing education of utmost importance to his patients and seeks to provide them with the most recent advances in integrative and osteopathic medicine possible.
