I have 15 years experience in the transportation industry. Began my career in transportation at Vanguard Logistics. Was the team lead for the top three accounts for the company. Load planning ocean containers, checking for accuracy on depart and arrival times, and making sure all rail, D.O.T and ocean regulations were followed.I was with FedEx Freight 10 years. I began my career in 2008 as a part time dock employee in our Elmhurst, IL terminal. By 2010 I was promoted to Operations Supervisor in our Des Plaines, IL terminal. By 2013 I was promoted to Operations Manager of the largest outbound operation in the MidWest. I most recently took on a job with Zones LLC a I.T Solutions company where I helped build their transportation department. In the first year I teamed up with a few people from the project management team to identify cost saving opportunities and areas where we could improve the transportation department. Together as a team we identified 2.5 million in cost savings and improvements. I helped develope a reporting structure to help create analytics for stake holders helping to create visuals on how we as a company improved YOY. in 2 years we have seen tremendous improvements in revenue. I was with Zones for the past 2 years. Worked with bringing on trucking partners that fit the Zones blueprint for delivering on time service, along with very detailed white glove service for our customers. These partnerships have allowed for flexibility for our customers allowing Zones to deliver exceptional service.I have received numerous awards from sales and upper management for my leadership and customer relationships.
