Responsible for excavation slope, shielding & shoring safety, selection of PPE to mitigate concrete burns, flammable liquid storage and site-specific safety plans.• Determined Confined Space area by atmospheric testing and work conditions that would deem the area Permit and Non-Permit confined space. • Sole Safety Manager on Contractor Kaufman Lynn’s 26 million-dollar 12-story High Rise building on Ft Lauderdale Beach, FL. Oversaw 110 employees, responsible for daily stretch and flex, weekly toolbox talks, and new hire orientations. • Worked with Project Management, Human Resources and Risk Management to develop daily Pre-Task Plans to identify fall hazards, electrical hazards, potential silica exposure, pinch points and crush hazards that can be mitigated in a High Hazard Analysis Report.• Adapted to changes in technological system updates regarding changes in Safety Data Sheets and Incident Reporting.• Assured each employee receives the required level of safety training in fall protection, CPR, First Aid and AED.
