I have been in the banking industry since 2001. During that time, I have transitioned from a bank teller to a Vice President position influencing bank-wide decisions. I started at American Commercial Bank as a teller in Ventura, CA. Soon afterward, we were acquired by Mid-State Bank and Trust. After a little over a year, I was promoted to a supervisory position. After a number of years, I transitioned to the Central Coast of California working for Los Padres Bank. I worked in a core systems and compliance Help Desk role for a number of years in San Luis Obispo, CA before being promoted to manage the Operations Services Department in Solvang, CA. I managed a team of six that was responsible for electronic banking, debit cards, ACH, legal processes, and branch support. In 2010, Los Padres Bank was acquired by Pacific Western Bank in an FDIC-assisted acquisition. At the point, I was offered a position as a Branch Manager in the Solvang Branch where I focused on team-building, cross-training, customer service, and sales. After three years, I was promoted to Operations Administration Training and Project Manager in Santa Maria, CA where I currently reside. I spend my time developing and distributing training, assisting with system issues, including a major core system conversion in 2016, writing policy and procedure, creating and revising forms for the Operations Team, and assisting with regulatory and risk-related issues for all branches.
