Carrying out inspections and contractor surveillance including weld inspection mpi, dpi, ut on the build and refit of sellafield nuclear power plant. The role also compromised of carrying out document reviews of contractors reports to make sure there were no discrepancies.

My position as an NDT inspector at BAE systems involves carrying daily inspections using all the mentioned techniques such as MPI, DP, UT, welding inspection and Tofd, Some of these inspections are carried out on nuclear reactor pipework involved with the astute class submarines. This position also involves database work signing jobs off once complete and also the paperwork side of reporting jobs that have been carried out.
