Performed many roles in the paper, power, petrochemical, oil & gas, mining and solids handling process arenas with project sizes ranging between small capital projects of $70K to major projects up to $2.4 Billion. At Worley, I'm currently a field engineer at an ExxonMobil Chemical facility located in Baytown, TX. Kristopher’s representative professional assignments included the following field craft experience, field supervision and management, cost estimating, scheduling & planning, tracking of physical project progress, systems turnover related procedures, field engineering, creation as well as resolution of RFI’s (Request for Information), response and tracking, developing field deviation / change notices, constructability, subcontract management and project management for various small scale capital cost improvement projects. I have had the opportunity to work on many diverse project types in the field and office environments.

Field EngineerWorley Apr 2020 - Jul 2020North Sydney, Nsw, AuExxonMobil, BCEP (Baytown Chemical Expansion Project) OSBL & Enabling Works Project, Baytown, TX. The $250 million project scope was to provide the OSBL infrastructure installations necessary to connect the current Chemical Plant facility to the new SPU/LAU Units; Units to be installed by the ISBL contractor. The installations for Enabling Works essentially enabled the installation of the necessary infrastructure for both the OSBL and ISBL work to begin. This piece consisted of land development for parking & laydown use, road installations, construction trailers, warehouse modifications, and lunch facility, as well as needed temporary facilities installations (piping, electrical, and fiber). The Interconnects activities consist of constructing the OSBL pipe racks (foundation & steel) and piping installations, new pump installations, new product storage tanks and a clarifier, and all the associated electrical, communications, and instrumentation upgrades necessary for the existing facility to accept & be connected to the new ISBL installations. I was brought on as a Field Engineer, I assisted in the creation as well as resolution of RFI’s between contractor and Engineering concerning various disciplines. Completed red line drawings when required, acted as liaison between contractor & engineering entities concerning flow of information related to construction. Supported the Turnover Manager/Team by utilizing the Client provided system P&IDs to systemize project data and list (i.e. line list, spool, FIWP & equipment list, etc.). This project scope was initiated and progressing as planned but was inevitably postponed by the Client due to the COVID-19 pandemic with plans to restart end of 2021. -
Field Engineer & Tech Service ManagerWorley Sep 2019 - Apr 2020North Sydney, Nsw, AuExxonMobil, BLADE (Beaumont Light Atmospheric Distillation Expansion) Early Works Project, Beaumont, TX. The $230 million project scope was to build-up/cap ExxonMobil’s existing landfill and wetlands areas to obtain grassroots like conditions prior to ISBL/OSBL mobilization. This required the filling/compacting of approximately 850,000 cubic yards of layered back-fill on a 50-acre environmental closure area and the project plot. Area preparation consisted of modifications, demolition, installation of access roadways and the installation of bridges & ramps, including a heavy haul road which traversed through an operating Chemical Plant facility. Other installations included security fencing, on and offsite parking lots with highway traffic lighting, installation of electrical facilities (substation/lighting/power), infrastructure piping systems, permanent storm water detention pond with pumping capabilities, trailer complexes and temporary facilities and structures. I was brought on by the Client late in the project with the expectation to catch the ball in stride and lead the team to project closeout. This presented a unique set of challenges considering resources were demobilizing upon my arrival. Despite adversity, I quickly developed and maintained strong relationships and communication with all site Contractors, Engineers, and Client Representatives. Managed two-person team responsible for tracking and updating all project Field Installed Work Packages (FIWP's), implementation of procedures required for successful turnover and delivery of turnover documentation as set forth in the terms and conditions of the Construction Contract. Also, coordinated with representatives from other companies to troubleshoot problems regarding construction and process, utilized software “Prolog Converge” to coordinate the workflow, response and approval of project RFI’s and submittals. Aided the Client in system PSSR walks & responsible for all project redlines & as-builts. -

I wore multiple hats throughout the life of the project and showed strong adaptation abilities which enabled me to fulfil a verity of project obligations. Some accolades include: lead the cost department in dissecting the project estimate into the appropriate budgets/contract buckets, converted all current project data and model dumps quantities into project bid tabs/tables for all disciplines to be sent out for RFQ’s. Assisted with project set-up including writing key project procedures. Reviewed/scrubbed the client’s systemized P&IDs for discrepancies and provided resolution. Worked in partnership with the Client & CM Team to establish the system skyline which was utilized as the system turnover schedule, progress profile and guide to project start-up. After transitioning to the field, I held the role as the Heavy Lift Coordinator for the CM Team, developed the heavy lift heavy haul package for the project and assisted the Client SME with implementing a successful heavy lift heavy haul campaign. Managed RFI’s for mechanical, civil/structural, piping, paint & insulation. Lead system walks for Operations and assisted the TSM with system completion & turnover for project closeout. -
