Transport and care of critically injured or ill patients who may need cardiac monitoring, arterial line monitoring, balloon-pump monitoring, use of a ventilator. Knowledge of many different medications and equipments is a imperative. I provide care to patients in need of cardiac catheterizations, stroke victims in need of higher level of care at stroke facilities, patients on full life support post cardiac arrest going to higher level facilities.

As a BLS CPR instructor through the American Heart Association I provide education, training, and recertification on the proper techniques of Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation.

My responsibilities include the packaging, care and transport of critically injured or ill patients to higher level of care facilities. Patients range from neonatal to geriatric and include treatment and care of anything from severe respiratory issues, traumatic injuries, pregnancy issues, cardiovascular and cerebrovascular incidents.

My responsibilities as a Field Training Officer are ensuring that crews are in appropriate company issued uniforms, and to assist in improving our customer service standards. Also this position will be responsible for supporting the goals and objectives of the New Employee Orientation program, conduct field training and evaluation of new employees, conduct remedial training for continuing employees and act as resource to field staff with clinical and protocol questions.

My responsibilities include the treatment and care of Basic Life Support patients during interfacility transports. The skills necessary for my position include being able to effectively communicate whether in person and over a phone or radio, being able to build a rapport with any person in my care, ensure the safety of myself, my crew and most importantly the patient. I must also be able to provide, to the best of my abilities, proper medical care and treatments for which I must continuosly educate myself to hone my skills.
