In less than a year, by implementing workflow efficiencies, the speed at which foster pets were placed was increased by 21%. This, coupled with an overall placement increase of 7%, saw the organization’s capacity for care grow by 11%.Given the importance of the Foster Program, the Transport and Warehouse Departments were reassigned to another manager, allowing me to focus on completely overhauling the Foster Program. Project leader for the Foster Process Improvement Project Team. This project team’s purpose was to develop a plan to revamp the entire Foster Program. A comprehensive 14-page plan was created, laying out all aspects of a transition from the current foster model to that of a more customer-friendly case-manager model.

I oversaw 12 employees, foster and rescue placement, the organization’s cat programs, and several owned animal programs.
