I am currently the Director of Boone County Arboretum and Owner of Green Vision Professional Services. I have over 20 years of experience in the administration of a successful level IV accredited Arboretum. My areas of experience are in public garden development, urban forestry, and nonprofit development. In 2019 I founded Green Vision Professional Services where I offer consulting services in all of these areas to various organizations. This includes being the immediate past President of the Northern Kentucky Urban and Community Forestry Council, Advisory member of Boone County Urban Forest Commission, past President and Board member of the Kentucky Invasive Plant Council, immediate past President of Taking Root, and as an ex-officio board member of Friends of Boone County Arboretum. I also serve on the steering committee of the Theodore Klein Plant Award Selection Committee, and the Kentucky Urban Forestry Council. I am a former writer for Kentucky Gardener Magazine where I contributed monthly as the Ask the Expert columnist. I also maintain certification as an ISA Certified Arborist, a credential I have held since 2002.
