I'm a very passionate person who loves writing, editing, marketing, and content creation. I'm very outgoing, I love to meet new people, and I place a high value on collaboration and a healthy work/life balance. In 2018, I accepted a position as Content Writer for an exciting new marketing firm in Overland Park, Kansas, now known as Legalfit. Eventually, I was promoted to the position of Content Writer and SEO Specialist, before being named Content Manager. As the new Content Manager, I oversaw a team of writers and editors that produced over 200 pieces of content a month — all optimized following the latest in SEO best practices and keyword research. Through these successes, I was eventually promoted to Production Manager in 2021, overseeing a department that consisted of a Content, Design, and Implementation team that worked to design, create, and launch more than 50 websites a month. During my time at Legalfit, I managed a number of different teams, and eventually an entire department — which allowed me to develop a variety of different skills that centered on leadership, collaboration, and project management. Before moving to the Kansas City area in 2018, I lived and worked in Nashville, Tennessee for a financial Services company known as UBS. UBS gave me my first opportunity out of college. They allowed me to put my communication skills to use as a client resolution specialist, before eventually promoting me to Lead Internal Auditor, where I would oversee the creation and implementation of a myriad of different training documents and policies for internal quality control purposes. Eventually, I decided to leave the financial world to pursue a career in the industry of content creation as a writer and editor for UBM media. After a few years working with their content team, I eventually decided to relocate closer to home, moving to Kansas City in 2018 to begin working on the marketing side of content. Before starting my professional career, I earned a Bachelor's degree in Journalism and Electronic Media from the University of Tennessee in Knoxville. I also minored in communications in an effort to refine both my written and verbal communication skills.Throughout all of these jobs, I've had the opportunity to refine and improve my skills as a reliable and successful manager, coworker, colleague, and employee. It is my hope to continue to refine these skills and continue my journey within the realm of writing, marketing, and content creation.
