Former Collegiate Athlete at Kent State University turned Ph.D. Specialized Teaching Professor at The Florida State University. Deeply invested in, and passionate about, athlete development. This includes working to see collegiate athletes attain a true education and create opportunities inside/outside of sport. During my 4 years as a doctoral student/candidate I also worked with Florida State University Athletics as the Lead Strategic Academic Mentor. All the while, I utilized this time doing research and writing a dissertation (365 pages, yikes) focusing on the educational experiences of black collegiate athletes; Book Coming Soon! I am passionate about the innovativeness, creativity, intelligence, humanity, and value of collegiate athletes, and athletes in general. I love researching/learning about Athlete Branding and how athletes can capitalize on skills that will help them succeed in life, especially in our modern era of NIL.
