As Assistant Director for Communications for Publications and Graphic Design, I assist the Director of Communications in the creation and implementation of a strategic, multi-faceted communications program designed to build and strengthen the College's role and reputation as a leader in higher education.Essential Duties and Responsibilities:• Layout and design of Limestone College publications including "Limestone Today" and "Report to Investors"• Develop graphic design elements for the College's website and social media sites• Create special graphic pieces such as newsletters, marketing pieces, advertisements, postcards, etc.• Produce written communication pieces and design annual fund-raising appeals• Monitoring, writing, and posting of online materials such as the College's website and social media sites• Photographing special events and general campus lifeAs Director of Alumni Programs, it was my responsibility for the planning and implementation of programs and projects that strategically engage alumni in strengthening programs and provide benefits to alumni and current students.Primary Responsibilities:• Develop and determine the goals, objectives and protocols of the alumni• Conduct meetings with board members to plan and execute alumni activities• Ensure income and funds for alumni by planning and conducting fund raising tasks• Verify accounts and legal documents of alumni for accuracy• Establish direct communication with chief administrators or eminent personalities as per the requirements of alumniSecondary Responsibilities:• Utilize different media platforms and plan ways to improve the strength of alumni• Arrange resources, oversee proceedings and execute alumni activities successfully• Create programs that inculcate a sense of belonging and affinity among alumni• Establish communication of the current students with past students and provide them guidance in making correct career decisions
