IT Project Manager for continued roll out of enterprise construction management software, across divisions and Strike brands. Work with all levels of office management and field teams to coordinate and implement efforts at change management.

Before transitioning to IT, I worked in this role as a BAA within Operations. During this time I was the key driver in helping multiple divisions improve operational efficiency by implementing new construction management software on nearly 75M worth of projects. These process changes had positive impacts across field and office teams, and ultimately drove the definition and adoption of more efficient SOPs surrounding project communications and document/drawing management.

In this liminal and evolving role as "Project Assistant" I led an enterprise-level initiative to select a new project management platform. Throughout the process of this grass-roots push, I marshaled buy-in from key stakeholders and business unit leaders.After extensive BA work and formal software vetting, we reached consensus with our software selection. I then successfully presented a business case to the CEO, EVP of Ops, and VP of IT for approval to begin pilot testing. Having won approval, I have since led the efforts for implementation, system design, testing, and SOP development. Most importantly, I continue to work closely with stakeholders and influencers across the business units to design and roll out a best fit for Strike operations. In this capacity I have loved engaging with everyone among Strike’s diverse divisions: Document Controllers, Engineers, Project Coordinators, Schedulers, Project Managers, Directors and VPs, you name it. I’m a natural fit for the people-skills and ardent curiosity my work requires as I dig into the knit and grit of critical business processes and provide knee-to-knee solutions. The ultimate aim to optimize operational efficiency places me in a position to be an advocate for change that really makes an impact, and I couldn’t be more excited about that.

I was hired to takeover and expedite the implementation and rollout of a previously selected project management platform. After a few weeks of investigation and testing, I helped our project team see that this selected software was not a best fit and gained approval to:1) conduct a multi-division business analysis of a project's lifecycle, 2) establish as-is processes and updated requirements, and ultimately 3) to find an alternative project management platform if it was clear our existing resources did not provide the required solutions.

Before IE hired me as a project manager consultant, they were operating like any good start-up: keep as many plates spinning as you can as fast as you can, and try to learn from your mistakes when you drop them. But things were getting out of hand and they knew they could do more by standardizing their project management processes, which were previously pretty "wild west".When my job was complete, IE had a task management platform they loved and used on a daily basis that intuitively and powerfully captures the dynamism and variety of their project types, standardizes key procedures, and gives them the visibility and accountability they were desperately searching for. Here's an outline of the services and solutions I provided:DISCOVERY- Deep-dive into the thick of IE existing projects (e.g. current status and projections; tech dependencies; stakeholders and responsibilities)- Identification of existing processes around project execution and standard team communication, both intentional and ad hoc processesSOP DEVELOPMENT- Establish PM requirements based on Discovery Phase, and define new/refined SOPs for moving forward- Search and identify best-fit PM software that can be adopted in stride, and scale with IE as they growIMPLEMENT- Develop schedules for each project and incorporate into new PM software (e.g. assign tasks, create contingencies)- Get users setup and trained as needed (e.g. test plans)
