Develop, manage, grow, and evaluate the Peer Health Exchange program on the SFSU campus.Supervise recruitment and selection of Peer Health Exchange volunteers. Train college students in being health topic experts and in leadership and teaching skills (peer management, public speaking, facilitation, and classroom management).Recruit, secure, and maintain new and current Bay Area high school partnerships.Manage, coach, and support San Francisco State University student leaders on an ongoing basis.

Primary function was to support the realization of one of East Oakland Building Healthy Communities’ “Drivers of Change” – Enhancing Collaborative Efficacy. Develop and maintain an understanding of the local and statewide legislative policy calendar.Conduct ongoing research of developing local legislation and administrative procedures related to work group agendas.Develop and present a summary of research findings and recommendations for action. Manage and lead a team of 7 interns as we trained for the use and implementation of a health access survey designed to improve the quality of care for men of color.Support efforts to inform health access and quality policies which seek to improve the quality of care as well as the delivery systems available to East Oakland residents. Contribute to regular updates on internal and external media channels (e.g., website, social media).Assist in the design & implementation of a data collection and analysis project.
