I was responsible for managing 5 - 3rd party dedicated fleets, Steelcase City Fleet and SC Transport which are both a part of the Steelcase private fleet. I was also responsible for managing the truckload common carriers, LTL, Intermodal, parcel, expedited and air freight.

Responsible for managing a team of 2 senior analysts and 6 analysts who on a daily basis coordinated the delivery of merchandise to 4,200 + stores from 9 DCs. I managed dedicated fleets ranging in size from 25 trucks in the smallest facility to 130 trucks in the largest. Each year I budgeted annual freight spend in addition to explaining monthly budget variance.

Responsible for managing a staff of 10, who arranged the pickup and delivery of all freight originating in the contiguous U.S. into 9 DCs. I was also responsible for budgeting, RFPs, carrier maintenance and contract maintenance.
