I have worked as a senior engineer, tech team lead, consultant and technology architect in the fields of government, banking and internet media, creating applications like the one you are using right now for almost twenty years. I am most known for being an outside-the-box-thinking evangelist for API centric development and Domain Driven Design. I am a strong believer in de-centralized, non-monolithic microservice oriented architecture, which enables fast scaling and natural migration of technology. These days I am implementing AI-driven workflows and processes into digital services.I worked for 5 years as a CTO for my government, being responsible for architecture vision, technology strategy, development principles and leading the engineering community. Currently I am the Technology Director for Digital Nation where I help build future-ready digital societies. I am also the CTO for international GovStack initiative for designing better standards for government technologies.I am also a strong believer in Agile methodologies and I frequently consult developers and start-ups. Outside work my primary hobby is board-gaming!
