I began navigating the world of mental health over 20 years ago. I was drawn to finding ways to dismantle the stigma around mental health, particularly within communities of color. I have worked in numerous areas of social services; case management, with community organizations focused on tackling sexual exploitation and in I have now moved into management. Ideally I will find a path to returning to speaking engagements to share my story as a single mother that raised a child that lives with a mental health dx. I’m a board approved clinical supervisor I will focus on providing supervision for future BIPOC clinicians.
