Current responsibilities include:-Manages the planning, implementation, ongoing review, updates, and oversight of the Magnet, Advanced Placement, International Baccalaureate, and Dual Enrollment/Dual Credit processes along with other strategic innovation efforts-Supports the short and long-range goals and objectives for the improvement of system-wide strategic innovations -works collaboratively with district leadership, department, heads, and school principals to establish alignment among departments for the purpose of clarifying responsibilities, promoting flexibility and adaptability, reducing redundancy, and focusing district wide efforts on the overall strategic plan-Identifies emerging, local, state, national, and global educational trends and techniques related to the implementation of the district strategic plan and uses knowledge to recommend and develop opportunities for innovation within the school district-Monitors the effectiveness of each program by tracking data and program/curriculum alignment-Maintains knowledge of current trends and related laws and regulation in education, reform, management, and information technologiesI have authored and co-authored multiple policies for the district. In the last four years, I have secured over $300k in grant funding to develop and enhance robotics education in the district.
