In addition to offering a strong strategic voice through her writing, Kristy also believes that communications need to have a rhythm.That's why her copy is memorable and easy to read. She has the ability to give your brand a unique voice all of its own. As a writer, she knows how to sell a product in a way that doesn't insult the reader's intelligence. Kristy has worked with for profit corporations, non-profits, and B2Bs. She handles direct mail campaigns for the American Indian Science and Engineering Society (AISES). Her awards and accolades speak for themselves about the strength of her voice.

As Creative Director, I oversaw all aspects of communications at AISES, both print and digital. This includes an online monthly newsletter, fundraising appeals, and press releases. I also produced copy for the Annual Report, website, blogs, and all social media. I worked to build a consistent brand image for AISES and enhance the organization's mission to substantially increase the representation of American Indians and Alaskan Natives in engineering, science, and other related technology disciplines.

Responsible for all the communications materials for TRU. Reporting directly to the President/CEO, I also conduct interviews and write articles for the agency newsletter, update our Facebook pages and create content for the agency website, broadcast emails, annual reports, and fundraising appeals. I was part of the team of writers and designers responsible for rebranding the organization, which included everything from selecting a name and redoing all collateral to redesigning the website and updating every document used in the agency.

In this position, I was responsible for successfully building relationships and gaining referrals from physicians, Assisted Living Communities, and Skilled Nursing Facilities. I managed my territory, handled any conflicts that were of concern to referral sources, and represented our agency to the community. I'm a dynamic speaker and can bring any topic to life, even one as potentially intimidating as "Talking About the Hard Stuff' a presentation designed to get people to put their end-of-life wishes in writing.

Provided conceptual direction and copywriting expertise to a full spectrum of consumer, non-profit and B2B accounts. Also conducted seminars on effective direct marketing techniques for non-profit organizations. Clients included The Rocky Mountain News, InJoy Birth and Parenting Videos, Vail Resorts, the American Indian College Fund, Teledyne Water Pik, FIrst Nations, Norgren, Dressed for Success, RTD, Terra Chips, Arrow Electronics, and COBE Cardiovascular.

Worked on the creative team that won accounts such as the Rocky Mountain News and Grease Monkey for the agency. Other accounts included Swedish Hospital, NBI, Keystone, Head Sports, Children's Hospital, Rose Medical Center, and Humana Healthcare.Awards: The One Show, Denver Ad Club, ADDY Awards, Art Directors Club of Denver, American Advertising Association Gold Peak Award.
