I work within a unit in the school with emotional behavioural kids. The main focus is on getting their attendance up and attitude to learning more positive. We work on catching them up on school work if they are behind from missing lessons or if on reduced timetables so don’t attend all subject lessons throughout the week. Social skills are a key thing for them to learn as well along with just having a safe space to come to if they need it.
