Kristy is an award winning filmmaker, TV Host and Actor. Highlights include Kristy hosting the Logie nominated series, Crash The Bash for Nickelodeon, starring in the AWGIE winning play, Rice and writing/directing/producing the dark comedy short, Something Fishy and the award-winning irreverent web series, How to Know If You’re Dating a Narcissist, which was produced by Kristy’s new company Sweary Canary, Enzo Tedeschi's Deadhouse Films and with the support of Screen Australia.Kristy is most passionate about creating comedy (both in front and behind the camera) and TV hosting (because she’s dope at it) and very much wants to work with people that love a good dick joke (you’ll need to watch her web series). Her work is dark, irreverent and thought-provoking touching on themes of otherness and isolation.Kristy’s interest in filmmaking began in 2010 when she received the Metro Screen/ Screen NSW First time Filmmakers grant and went on to make the successful dark comedy short, Something Fishy. Shortly after, Kristy was made the series host of documentary series, Sunday Best on ABC2, a series she hosted from 2011-2013.In 2014, Kristy received the coveted Screen NSW Producer Extension Placement and quickly went on to associate produce two seasons of Kim & Courtney’s Theory of Awesomeness for Disney XD before winning the Channel host position at Nickelodeon in 2016. Kristy has TV hosted for Nickelodeon, ABC2, Channel 11 and Channel 10. She also co-hosted the 2018 Logie nominated, Crash The Bash for Foxtel/Nickelodeon.Kristy trained with a variety of acting coaches in Sydney including film actor, John Noble and at the Atlantic Theater Company, NYC. She has worked on both stage and screen as an actor. Some of her credits include Neighbours, Here Come the Habibs, Legally Brown, Airlock, Reef Break (US) Fam Time, The Wilds (US) and Doctor Doctor.
