I'm a dynamic children's author, educator, and creative entrepreneur who independently publishes books, excelling in writing, marketing and distribution. My debut book, Looking for Lily, was shortlisted for the 2023 West Australian Young Readers’ Book Award and placed second in the 2022 Children and Young Adult Aspiring Author Competition. My follow-up, Mavey and Beth’s Double Act: Where’s My Whistle?, secured fourth place in the 2023 edition of the same competition.As the founder of the Book Builders Challenge, funded by the Department of Local Government, Sport, and Cultural Industries, and the Town of Victoria Park, I lead innovative programs that empower students in book illustration, editing, publishing and marketing. In 2024, I launched this program at East Victoria Park Primary School, engaging students in weekly workshops with esteemed authors and illustrators including Sean E Avery, Kylie Howarth, Ash Harrier, Kathryn Lefroy, Rebecca J Palmer, Campbell Whyte, Gabriel Evans, and more.In addition to my authorship, I'm a seasoned teaching artist and lecturer who runs creative writing and film making workshops in libraries, schools and communities, fostering a love for storytelling. In 2024, I was selected for the Path to Published mentorship with best-selling author Sasha Wasley, and the SEW Arts teaching artists pilot training program.
