I've spent most of my career in K-12 education as an instructor and administrator, but I've been blessed to spend time in a few different environments that each provided extremely unique learning experiences. I've also worked in higher ed, marketing & public relations, educational technology and event planning. Here are my top 5 professional experiences thus far:1 - Guiding my school division through remote learning during the pandemic.2 - Finding a way to provide an appropriate learning device for each student PreK-12 in my division.3 - Helping students from the two poorest divisions in Virginia find their voice through creative writing experiences. 4 - Providing hundreds of hours of educational technology training to teachers in my division and throughout the region as part of the planning team for Tech Splash.5 - Designing websites, creative campaigns, and managed events for my alma mater, Virginia Intermont College, and on the side, writing some pretty engaging night life reviews from Tri-Cities.com
