I am the Program Manager for the Work Independence Network (WIN) who assists the developmentally delayed/intellectually disabled (DD/ID) to find, maintain, integrate, and gain independence in the workplace. Many customers are non-verbal and possess motor skill obstacles; through dedication and patience, I guide them to working autonomously.My ancillary duties include: the daily recording of Health Insurance Portability Accountability Act (HIPAA) complaint records, communicate semimonthly with the Developmental Disabilities Administration (DDA) and customer teams; review progress notes and logs for billing preparation; maintain compliance protocols; verify staffing schedules for employees and customers; special projects coordinator; and, develop continued education opportunities for staff.
