About Kristyn Stillwell

Sometimes we all need a shift in life. Mine happened in 2010 when we decided to work with 4 families and start a ministry dedicated to loving those overlooked in our community. In 5 years of feeding home cooked meals to the homeless in NW Houston we were able to help 70 people get off the streets and 45 of those are still off the streets. so in Nov 2015 we started HOPE Haven and launched into full time ministry. now in our first 9 years we have seen 1500 people leave the life of poverty behind and some avoid becoming homeless. It has been a fun journey and I cannot wait to see what the future has in store!Before that...12 years in the Computer business specializing in manufacturing. Worked in UNIX and Oracle based databases. Worked on windows platforms including but not limited to Visual Studio .NET and SQL Server. Implemented and wrote software customized for Hospice companies with emphasis on HIPPA Compliance, Pipe yards and Chemical/ Plastic manufacturing.Now I get to spend my days helping the homeless, marginalized and poverty stricken in Houston.
