As Counsel in Burr's Mobile office, the bulk of my practice relates to insurance coverage, municipal law, civil rights and appellate advocacy.

Kristy practices in the areas of general liability defense, first party property claims, insurance coverage and extra contractual claims, workers’ compensation, probate and appellate law. Serving as an Assistant District Attorney in Alabama and Georgia, she gained extensive jury and bench trial experience. Kristy has handled numerous appeals, and successfully argued a murder appeal on behalf of the State of Georgia before the Georgia Supreme Court in 2009. Prior to law school, she worked in Washington, DC as an Enforcement Analyst for the software industry’s leading trade association. Kristy is a native Mobilian, First Vice President of the Mobile Bar Association Women Lawyers, and a member of the Junior League of Mobile.

I prosecuted criminal cases on behalf of the State of Alabama.
