Kris has developed a deep expertise of all aspects of the Commercial & Residential Construction, Engineering and Architectural Business while serving the Industry for over 35 years. He started at an entry level field manager upon graduating with a B.S. in Civil Engineering from Penn State Univ. He has fulfilled most Operational & Entrepreneurial Leadership Roles in the Construction Industry including Chief Executive and Chief Operating Officer positions prior to founding Ryzec Building Group, LLC with his current partners.Kris began his formal post graduate career in 1989 working with a nationally prominent developer and builder, the Ryland Group, Inc., located in the Mid-Atlantic Region. He was able to quickly embrace managing high volume production building of hundreds of different product types & floor plans located in multiple states. This provided him an amazingly rewarding and successful fast-paced 8 years while at Ryland. In 1996, he left Ryland as the VP of Construction to join fledging Neumann Homes in Chicago. Kris completed his M.B.A. in 1996 while working full-time, after a few years of leading multiple disciplines in the highly growth driven organization, Kris became Executive Vice President of NHI.In 2004, Kris was offered an opportunity as Chief Operating Officer for a well respected Philadelphia based production builder & developer, Dewey Homes, LLP. Upon relocation to Philadelphia, Kris was immediately impacted by the rapid collapse of the Philadelphia housing market caused by the 2004/05 U.S. national economic and housing crisis. At that point, he placed his destiny in his own personal entrepreneurial confidence and leveraged his prior successes to secure other Executive and Consulting Engagements for the following two years.In 2007, Kris relocated his family to Nashville, TN and founded Ryzec Building Group, LLC with two former Ryland Group peers. The Partners leveraged their 20 years of building construction, land development, engineering and operations by creating A Full Service Commercial and Residential General Contracting Firm. Ryzec has not ignored its owner's housing roots but has grown the past 10 years as a Mid-South General Contractor focused primarily on light-commercial based out of Music City - Nashville, TN while also operating in the 4 surrounding states: Alabama, Georgia, Kentucky & Mississippi.
