As a Centre Head, I managed and co-ordinated with the team of volunteers allotted to the Centre, kept a track of logistics, teaching materials.I even managed the relations with the Orphanage Head and other stakeholders.As a teacher there, I taught children the basics of English through play over every weekend.

As a Researcher, I interacted with 70+ Transgenders, to understand their perspective of socio - economic status; why they are pushed into prostitution and beggary and finally how HIV affects their day - to - day lives. I collated information for the NGO to take apt decisions regarding HIV/AIDS campaigns for Transgenders and Sex Workers.As an Asst. Counsellor, I was trained to give basic physical and emotional support to poor, exploited surrogates going through post natal trauma, in the G-SMART program of ICWO

I networked and maintained database of Alumni of AIESEC in Chennai.Furthermore, I raised funds and sponsorships for the organization and the events that were organized by AIESEC.

Approach NGOs and partner with them for a month, have them interact with international interns who would teach the children at the NGOs of different cultures, ideas, respect, beliefs which would invigorate children to think out of the box. The culmination of the month saw a large event called Balakalakaar which invited 7,000 children to get in touch with their artistic skills that usually is not honed due to the attention paid to basic needs and basic education for the children, by the NGOs.
