I was born in California but spent most of my childhood with my family in Hassan, India, before traveling all over the United States, including Texas, South Carolina, Colorado, Ohio, and then Georgia, where all my high school years were the small city of Augusta. I am attending school at Johns Hopkins University in Baltimore, Maryland, and working towards a Bachelor's in Neuroscience and Economics. The Big Dream is to go to medical school and become a neurosurgeon.I love to read, write, and bake. I also love volunteering and community service, mainly in the medical field. I want any job that exposes me to the people doctors and surgeons help and how they help them, and I would do it for the experience alone. I am currently a research assistant under Dr. Shelby Kutty at Johns Hopkins Hospital, and it has been amazing! I now help organize Fontan circulation information about patients and help connect the Johns Hopkins Hospital to the national research level to support further research and development on Fontan procedures. I can help better people's lives and learn more about small patient population research. I love working as a research assistant in the medical field, and I am excited to gain as much experience as possible to help my future! I have done shadowing and internships at University and Children Hospitals in Augusta and completely dedicate myself to the medical field. I also love to connect with other people and help them in any way that I can, making me a huge people-pleaser. I treat everyone respectfully and love helping others with health or work issues. I recognize the struggle that people can go through in the medical field, but severe health issues personally impacted me, and I wish to return that price to those that helped me tenfold. I am passionate about this field and intend to follow through with it, promising me a dependable and hard worker!
