Above all, I am an advocate - an advocate who wants to make a difference. As a first step, I chose an educational path that allowed me to become informed regarding the issues and challenges that marginalized communities face. After completing my degree in Gender and Women’s Studies, I furthered my knowledge base to acquire the necessary fighting abilities to make a difference and acquired a license to practice as a Paralegal. Now, I’ve worked in Small Claims dealing with Tort and Contract Law matters, Personal Injury Law, Corporate Law, Immigration Law, Real estate Law, and Tax Law. With a wide variety of legal knowledge under my belt, I continue to look for new opportunities to connect and learn, while working on a project that is set to disrupt the current difficulties faced by oppressed individuals during new social interactions. In the meantime, I’m excited to connect with likeminded individuals to see how we can collectively succeed and make this world a better place.When I’m not hard at work, I’m an avid amateur musician (I sing in a choir and play piano and violin). I’m also a bit of a language nerd, being fluent in English, Hindi, and Finnish, with a working knowledge of Punjabi. My ongoing leisurely ventures are Real Estate studies and learning French and Spanish.
