Krizia Isamar Bruno-Tapia is a Dominican-American writer and artist from Brooklyn, NY, currently living in Philadelphia, PA. In January 2019, she founded Ofrendas as her life project to embrace and spread the voices of womxn of african and indigenous heritage. Ofrendas is an online magazine, quarterly print magazine, a publisher of handmade books, an organization aiming to increase afro-indigenous representation in arts and literature, and a community of admirers of the culture, history, and potential future. A 2019 graduate of the University of Pittsburgh and honorable-mention winner of the 2019 Gerald Stern Prize for Excellence in Poetry, Krizia aims to further develop and nourish her talents each day by uniting her multidimensional skills to aid in her journey to success.
