I'm a physics and studio art alumnus from Kalamazoo College interested in topics related to planetary science and astronomy. I am continuing my education in these topics by completing a doctoral degree with the Boston University Astronomy Department. My interests lie with the diversity which exists in our small corner of the galaxy despite a limited variety of common elements and environments. Eventually, I hope to work in a national or nonprofit laboratory to continue to grow my own knowledge within the highly interdisciplinary field of planetary science. When I am not nerding out over space physics, you can find me in a ceramics or stained glass studio working with the other half of my brain. I focus mainly in wheel throwing (and now in Boston, creating fun space-themed stained glass)!
