Technical Specialist Iii Mv Motors-Oil & Gas
Serve as support and resource to our US based sales force, customer base regarding the resolution of technical, engineering issues that affect the sale, installation and utilization of organizational products and services. Use broad knowledge of techniques, and industrial processes along with independent analysis, product capability and creative application to support the sales force and influence customers. Able to manage assigned projects. Currently assigned to the MV Motor and Drives division supporting the Oil and Gas Market. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:Provide sales and application support to the sales force and to customers with product or applications. This includes: A. Support propositions. B. Write specifications. C. Rendering technical product application. D. Making presentations to customer. E. Facilitation of Product Training, front end designing and bidding Medium Voltage Motors to Industry Standards and customer specific requirements.Use commercial leadership in relationship sales force and to customers to include: A. Maintain the profitability of orders. B. Product timely market forecasts. C. Increase market share.When applicable, conduct direct customer negotiation in conjunction with the sales force to resolve the price, terms, and conditions of an order.Maintain a marketing awareness with respect to competitor's products, new technical advances and procedures, and price level for comparable products.Maintain profitability of orders.Complete propositions promptly and accurately.Display technical, product, and commercial leadership.Work with the factory engineers to resolve technical problems.Participating in development of new products, product improvement , and Industry standard team sessions such as defining/updating our standard offering to meet API 541/547 & IEEE841 requirements.Product knowledge of MV Motors. LV motors and drives while applying the technical requirements for the application and project needs.
