About Mark Mann

Principally a Technical Architect specialising with Microsoft technologies across the complete system stack. With 25 years consulting experience in the design, delivery and architectural leadership of developing applications in a variety of sectors spanning retail, geospatial, finance, oil & gas, healthcare and HR!I enjoy working with people to make software and systems that work for them, bridging the gap that often exists between business and technology and learning more about their bigger picture. As an early adopter of DevOps and SRE this has strengthened my overall approach to keep relevant, versatile yet pragmatic. This particularly helped when justifying intent and roadmaps to CxOs.I’ve spoken at user groups and was the cofounder of the Silverlight UK User Group (SLUGUK). However, after witnessing the demise of Silverlight, Angular is now my frontend framework of choice.An Agile practitioner since 2005 (thank you Conchango!), I have been both a Certified Scrum Master and a Certified Product Owner. Thankfully there have been plenty of opportunities to exercise both my Agile and RAD skills (more so when building DevOps pipelines).I'm an active Cub Scout leader, bringing #skillsforlife to our younger generation!If I ever get some spare time I like messing with using machine learning with IoT and getting telemetry from my RC Racing Cars!Tech I love: C#, Angular, Azure, CosmosDB, SQL Server, SignalR and New Relic.(and use... MongoDB, RabbitMQ, Azure Service Bus, AWS)
