As the founder and principal of Anne Allan Group, an advancement consulting firm, my work is focused on educational equity.Prior to launching Anne Allan Group in early 2020, I learned the elements of a successful campaign as I worked on large campaigns for leading universities across the US:--For over six years, I led the Santa Clara University Office of Development with a staff of 85 people during the $1B Innovating with a Mission campaign. Average annual fundraising during the campaign hit double-to-triple pre-campaign levels.--Prior to that, I created and oversaw the business school’s portion of the University of Oregon’s comprehensive campaign. We expanded funding for Centers of Excellence, the growth of the business school’s Portland programs and facilities, and increased seed funding for the development of a new sports product marketing program.--I also served as an extremely active and productive field major gifts and principal gifts officer for Stanford GSB and Yale University during multi-billion-dollar campaigns.When I left the university world, I saw an opportunity to bring my “big school” fundraising skills to institutions that may not have the resources to run campaigns in the same way.Are you and your educational organization gearing up for an advancement campaign?
