Pore Pressure Prediction/ Prospect Evaluation/ Quantitative Interpretation/ Structural InterpretationPore Pressure Prediction:Invent a new workflow for velocity-based pore pressure prediction in a complex overpressure mechanism (mixed disequilibrium compaction and fluid expansion) and develop an in-house MATLAB program to implement this workflow in the Gulf of Thailand. The new workflow highly reduce uncertainty from 20% to 5% and also reduce the drilling cost from non-production time (NPT) for $2 million. The workflow is published in the interpretation journal.Prospect Evaluation:Evaluate POS and reserve/resource volume as a corporate peer review team. The tasks include (1) data room evaluation of two deepwater projects in Ghana and (2) evaluating and ranking five proposed prospects from the business units.Quantitative Interpretation: Apply rock physics, AVO, and amplitude analysis to appraise the presence of hydrocarbon and reservoir quality to fluvio-deltaic reservoirs in the Gulf of Thailand and Andaman Sea.Structural Interpretation:Construct structural models from seismic data in various structural settings such as extensional rifting (Gulf of Thailand), strike slip and pull-apart (Andaman Sea), and compressional thrust (Iran) basins
