Serving as rapporteur for the 2 day meeting, as well as writing and preparation of the final report for presentation to the GOARN secretariat.The meeting is designed to bring the existing GOARN partners to meet with potential partner institutions from selected countries to strengthen mechanisms to work together and be ready to provide the support to countries in need. The discussions will focus on the GOARN 2.0 regional plan of joint activities, to ensure a comprehensive approach to health emergency preparedness, readiness and response. It is also organized to facilitate information sharing and advocacy in order to enhance the impact and effectiveness of health-related humanitarian and recovery activities.

Women in Global Health is a movement that strives for greater gender equality in global health by seeking equal gender representation in the ranks of global health leadership. We aim to elevate and support the role of women in the discipline, collaboratively with the involvement of all genders, through raising awareness on the issue and creating gender responsive leaders in global health. We believe that in order to reach equity within global health and achieve health and well-being for all, it is paramount we attain gender equality within all ranks of global health leadership. We foster a culture of gender responsive leadership in individuals and within organizations to be the agents of change within their institutions and space of influence. We work with our partners and supporters to encourage stakeholders from governments, civil society, foundations, academia & professional associations, private sector and other initiatives through our strategic priority areas:Raising Awareness and Understanding through Thought Leadership Events and Dialogues; Capacity building, including workshops on Gender Responsive Leadership and skills development;Qualitative and quantitative research and data collection;Policy analysis and recommendations;Mentorship and NetworkingTogether we call for all those working in global health to prioritise gender equality in global health leadership across all key stakeholders with a goal of 50-50 gender parity in representation by 2030 in top global health leadership, including institutions across all sectors and visible thought leadership avenues.

Responsible for reporting to office and other UN organizations and management of the development and implementation of a patient-centered health information management application, which is currently being adapted for use in other countries. Management:• Managed development of the Health Information Management System “Leave No One Behind” (LNOB), to collect aggregate data on the affected populations seeking care from the WHO Mobile Emergency Primary Care Unit (MEPU) program teams, and to establish a preliminary electronic health record (EHR) and medical history for patients.• Oversaw and coordinated activities within the Information Management team (2 international IT consultants, 2 WHO-contracted consultants, 2 National staff) for application development• Launched, updated and maintained the LNOB application in the conflict-affected area with a pilot team of 9 MEPUs. Conducted field visits to assess monitoring practices and liaise with both field officers and implementing partners to inform development of data collection tools.Acted as support for and participant in eHealth reform activities, • Organized and served as a member of the WHO EURO DIR eHealth and Health Information Assessment mission in Kyiv, Ukraine.• Frequent collaboration with World Bank, various members of the Ministry of Health in Ukraine, and additional WHO Program Managers and partners to coordinate WHO activities and the World Bank “Serving People, Improving Health” project.• Supported activities led by eHealth technical experts from EURO DIR with the Ministry of Health, with regard to Health Care reform and planned eHealth Initiatives.

*Currently managing and coordinating the cleaning, entry and analysis of research data for the Childrens' Oral Health and Nutrition Project. Resulting data used to generate results for processing and publication. Additionally, data is processed per the request of international partner-NGOs for their own use and presentations.*Revised data cleaning and entry process to be more accurate, handled the re-cleaning and re-entry of over 3000 subjects and six cumulative years of research in two countries.*Restructured operations and student involvement to be more efficient and collaborative. Held twice-weekly data tutorials and training sessions for students to ensure they could independently collect and process data while working domestically and at project sites. *Created master guides on proper data cleaning, entry, interpretation, storage, and analysis for future students and project participants to learn from and use as references.*Collaborated with consultant statistician to devise and implement new identification codes that allow for longitudinal analysis of research and intervention participants across multiple years and seven different countries. Used SPSS analysis of final data to generate results for international partner-NGOs and COHNP students for their own use.

* Coordination and management of the planning of project trips to India and Nepal, including supplies ordering and tracking, reimbursements, and functioning as a liaison between students, faculty and various departments at UC Berkeley.* Managed UC Berkeley's field researchers working in urban and rural settings in the Maharashtra region of India and the Sindhupalchok region in Nepal, looking at maternal and child health (malnutrition caused by oral health and modern dietary changes)* Designed instructional toolkits for community health workers and children's book used to promote dental hygiene and safety. Each tool was tailored to be culturally relevant in Nepali and Indian communities.* Managing ongoing improvements to materials provided to NGOS and development of program, as well as working to implement oral health programming into existing health camps to ensure sustainability.*Drafting and collaborating on funding documents and grant proposals for continued program support.*Management of student projects in data, outreach and communications, program planning, supply ordering and project expansion.

Daily responsibilities include one-on-one patient care, creating personal therapeutic diets for patients based on restrictions and preferences, patient contact and education/discussion of diet and alternatives. Constant work with renal, cardiac, diabetic, and immunocompromised patients. Office tasks include processing formulas, clear and accurate communication between medical personnel/MD’s/RD’s/RN’s and all hospital departments for patient health and security, reviewing patient medical records for accuracy and consistency of care orders, and allergen monitoring. Frequent collaboration with supervisors to analyze composition of meals served on therapeutic diets and possible alternatives for improved patient response.
