Corporate Director Of Information Technology (It)Lynden Door Family Of Companies Apr 2013 - Jun 2022As head of IT for the Lynden Door Family of Companies, I had the opportunity to build the IT department from the ground up and scale IT operations as the organization has grown from a US-base manufacturing business with 175 employees to a nine-company US and Canadian group with 1,000+ staff. Notable Achievements:I architected and implemented a $1MM white box network, offering increased bandwidth, dramatically improved uptimes, additional security zones, and monitoring via internal systems and a virtual Security Operations Center. The new spine/leaf network provides an Operational Technology platform for manufacturing automation, and EVPN technology to isolate and protect core IT applications. When Covid-19 forced the shutdown of Lynden Door’s office’s, I led the move of 300+ employees to remote work via VPN’s, Microsoft Terminal Services, Apache Guacamole, and MS Teams within three days. My work received high praise at all levels due to the effectiveness of employees being able to work remotely with little time to prepare.

I have been Instrumental in revenue growing by 41x since the acquisition, with the customer portfolio increasing from 200 initially to over 4000 currently.
