Kathryn "Katie" Rose Sweatman Rigney is an artist, storyteller, and Library Technology Assistant in Digital Libraries and Technical Services at The New School. A firm believer in the power of creative storytelling, Katie seeks to empower the public, particularly teens, LGBTQ+ people, and economically disadvantaged communities, with access to information in order to tell their own stories. They are also interested in participatory media, media literacy, and creative practice in archives.
