Redevelopment Construction Programme & Projects Manager
A Construction Programme & Projects Manager role at New Zealand Blood Service, responsible for successfully planning, coordinating, and managing a multi-year, multi-stage redevelopment, construction, and refurbishment programme of work with multiple concurrent project streams, at its Auckland Hub facility, incorporating the National Office, Donor Centre, Logistics, Processing, and associated Laboratory facilities.As the primary interface between NZ Blood’s internal stakeholders, its landlord, principal architects, engineers, construction contractors, and council, my role is to ensure the delivery of the programme & its various project streams against agreed objectives, balancing scope, quality, time, and budget, while prioritising the minimisation of negative impacts on ongoing operational imperatives in a brownfields environment. Responsibilities include build-operate Facilities & Services Management during warrantee period.Completed and in-progress project streams include the Design, Tender, Construction, Fit-out/Installation, and Operational Transitioning/Occupation of new:• Executive, Administration & Support Services open-plan office & meeting room facilities• Atrium & Staff Cafeteria, featuring an award-winning, bespoke skylight double-story roof• Bespoke Staff Training facilities• Staff Changeroom, Shower & Bathroom facilities• Blood Donation Floor & related Blood Donor facilities• Blood Products Processing & Manufacturing Laboratories• Therapeutic Suites• Logistics Storerooms, Service Yard & Ring Road for Delivery Trucks & Couriers• Door, Gate, Intercom & CCTV Security System• Building Management System• Bespoke Heating, Ventilation, Air-Conditioning, & Refrigeration Plant• Passenger & Goods elevators• Bespoke Generator & Fuel Tank facilities• Bespoke UPS Battery facilities• Server & Networking Rooms• Seismic Strengthening of the Building Structure• Electric Vehicle Charging Stations• Site Vehicle & Pedestrian Traffic Safety Management
