The cluster or instrument cluster in a car shows different dials, gauges and warning lights which typically sits behind the steering wheel and provides driver with info on the vehicle status. While the infotainment touchscreen display in the car provides with range of comfort and safety functions such as climate control, navigation, radio, multimedia, connectivity (Wi-Fi, Android Auto, Apple CarPlay) etc.● Performed Smoke, Sanity, Regression and Functional testing on new builds or for every modification in the application.● Created detailed defect reports in Jira with screenshots/attachments, logs, steps to recreate and other relevant information.● Created Test plans and wrote test cases making sure full coverage of all scenarios and imported the test cases to TestRail.● Worked in an Agile environment and participated in daily stand ups, sprint planning, retrospectives, sprint backlog verification.● Worked in team along-with Developers, Business Analysts, UI/UX Designers and got in sync with Product owners as and when needed.● Involved in creation and execution of keyword driven Appium automation framework.● Working knowledge of flashing the Bosch VCU using QFIL (Qualcomm Flash Image Loader), debuggers, JFrog Artifactory and Jenkins to get latest tools and builds.● Sending CAN signals or messages through vehicle simulator for performing/ achieving expected results on the cluster display.● Used Android Emulator for testing the patches.● After flashing tested using the HMI (Infotainment) display, Steering Wheel Controls (SWC) and took ADB logs for verifying any failures or code breakage.● Executed Robot Framework written using Python on PyCharm IDE for screenshot testing.
