I shouldered several key responsibilities that shaped the trajectory of our study. Firstly, I meticulously gathered hospital data records, ensuring the availability of comprehensive and accurate information for our research. Subsequently, I applied a robust methodology, employing both meta-analysis and retrospective studies, to thoroughly investigate this rare and challenging cardiac malignancy. The findings from our project allow for treating clinicians to recognize patients that should be referred to palliative/hospice care at the time of diagnosis and avoid any surgical interventions as they did not show any differences in mortality. This project has reinforced the importance of collaborating within a team setting.
