Procurement Expert
CurrentSourcing, Expediting, negotiation of terms of contract, Procure 2 Pay process, ERP Expert, Conflict resolution and problem solving• Sourcing, Negotiating, creating, and managing Purchase agreements and Relationship building with vendors by resolving any issues, ensuring a seamless Procure to Pay process with suppliers located around the world.• Commodity manager for Raw materials, Electrical, Mechanical and safety equipment. • Conduct timely audits, prepare weekly reports, manage contracts, analyze data for procurement cost saving. • Collaborate with business on current and future projects requiring procurement support.• Collaborate with team and suppliers to drive improvements and achieve optimal results in rapidly growing environment. • Ensure compliance and timely and accurate reporting with the procurement policy, procedures and protocols, strategic agreements, and all applicable tax codes in Ontario, British Columbia, Alberta, Manitoba, Nova Scotia and New Brunswick.• Coordinate and administer various subcontract types and sizes with an emphasis on critical large-value subcontracts, including those with complex commercial models comprising cost-reimbursable target cost models, detailed Key Performance Indicators, and pain/gain cost incentive mechanisms.• Maintain constant tab on delivery timelines and provide risk analysis for specific purchase orders and subcontracts relative to the potential financial impact due to delays in delivery.• Interface with Project Management, Estimating, Design Integration, Project Delivery, and Project Controls groups to support seamless and effective bidding and execution.• Work closely with Project Team to ensure Procurement Initiatives/ Strategic Sourcing Projects/Teaming Arrangements are in accordance with Company Policies and Best Practices.• Mentor team for SAP MM Module for complete P2P process. Responsible for Vendor Master Set ups and Material Master set ups including outline agreements in SAP.
