Currently, I am working as a Clinical Research Coordinator at the Bruyere Heath Research Institute and the Ottawa Hospital Research Institute with Dr. Colleen Webber’s research lab. I support the long-term care and palliative care research portfolio with a focus on the health and well-being of older adults. I have a Master of Science in Epidemiology from the University of Ottawa. Under the guidance of Dr. Alison Krentel, I was part of the FAST Package Project through the Bruyere Research Institute. My thesis project surrounded health-seeking behavior and health information trust among women at risk of female genital schistosomiasis in Ghana. I assisted Dr. Sherilee Harper at the University of Alberta to develop a Climate Change and Health Graduate Embedded Certificate. As well, I supported Dr. Harper in developing a climate change and health course at the School of Public Health, which was recently approved. I was also a Research Affiliate at Health Canada with the Climate Change and Innovation Bureau. I graduated from the School of Public Health and Health Systems at the University of Waterloo with a Bachelor of Science in Honours Health Studies. Previously, I worked as a research assistant with the International Tobacco Control Policy Evaluation Project at the University of Waterloo. In my final year, I completed a scoping review, under the supervision of Dr. Warren Dodd, for an undergraduate honors thesis project on community health workers and their role in extreme weather events precipitated by climate change. I have worked at the Canadian Institute for Health Information in the Health Workforce Information Services department providing support to the Stakeholder Engagement and Data Management teams. I also provided support to Ontario's Data Strategy through a 4-month placement at the Ontario Digital Service with the Ministry of Government and Consumer Services.
