As part of Oracle Advertising (formerly Datalogix) leading multiple teams building a platform to create, execute and measure the success of digital advertising campaigns. We've built an orchestration layer on top of containerized Java microservices and ReactJS-based apps, deployed to AWS using agile development processes to deliver data to external partner platforms. As the lead of the Activation Integrations group, our teams build and maintains a platform that orchestrates the delivery of data to numerous digital advertising platforms at scale for our clients. Our core work centers around designing and building UIs and services to standardize and automate revenue-generating business processes.

Simple Energy leverages energy data analytics, individualized messaging, and leading behavioral science to motivate customers to take the actions their utilities value most. We interact with customers in real-time across the platforms people use most – email, web, mobile, social, and print – to build a more dynamic relationship between utilities and their customers.As a full-stack developer, built core functionality in a consumer-facing single page web app, as well as developed back end services to power front end clients. As part of the Business Intelligence team, built ETL tools to bring data from across the organization into the data warehouse, as well as tools to report on, analyze, and distribute this data to facilitate data-driven decision-making for both the business as well as customers.

Crafting software solutions for business professionals in banking & securities, insurance, and other highly regulated industries to allow them to quantify and manage risk more effectively. Building Javascript web applications to allow legal, compliance, audit, and risk management teams to interrogate online data stores to deliver risk profile reports directly to desktop and mobile devices.

Responsible for production of front end client applications as strategic additions to the core BrightTALK platform. Developing web and native applications targeting primarily iOS and Android devices, and using HTML5 and Flash to target desktop browsers. Currently focusing on building HTML5/Javascript web applications with Node.js hosted in the cloud to distribute and view audio and video webcasts. Additionally has managed production of over 50 custom client project deliverables to date. Managing both in-house development as well as an offshore team.

Led the development team while building the first release of BrightTALK's webcasting platform, successfully deploying over 15 production releases during the first year of the platform. While leading development efforts, was responsible for hiring and growth of the team, both in numbers and in regard to formalizing development processes and adopting best practices. Led the transition from a handful of developers to a consistently high-performing team of software engineers.

Played a key roles in the conception, design, and delivery of BrightTALK's webcasting platform. Worked closely with founders and key business stakeholders in the planning stages. Worked closely with the CTO on system-level technical design and workflows. Platform was successfully launched and scaled to handle thousands of concurrent users. As the platform became foundational intellectual property for BrightTALK, patent protection was sought and was named as an inventor on 5 US patents.

Was responsible for identifying needs in the market and developing a technical strategy to meet those needs within existing budgetary and technical constraints. Made key decision around technology platform selection, system architecture and design, and production and delivery processes. Additionally was the sole developer and created a system that provided an end-to-end webcasting solution for users. Was responsible for all technical aspects of the system, including the web front end, authoring and presentation interfaces, backend database and web applications, as well as telephony and streaming media systems, all integrated into a unified solution.

Seeing the growing opportunities in the world of web technologies, decided to shift career path and helped to found and build a company to provide custom web development services to businesses. Turned a project deliverable into a product that then became the foundation for a new business venture.
