I am a proven leader who has helped grow firms from 5 people to over 100. If there is a hat to wear, it is usually on my head. I have a restaurant management certification, I am a certificated paralegal and I have received HR Certificates from HRCI.I have been told that I am a natural leader and therefore, I have always been in leadership positions. When I worked for Del-Taco, I was almost immediately placed into a leadership position. When I went through their management training program, I was sought after by every District Manage to run their stores. When I transitioned into the Default Services Industry, specifically the Law Firm side, I was also placed into leadership roles. I started in the industry as a litigation secretary and then transitioned into bankruptcy. I developed a passion for all things bankruptcy and especially loved working on fraud cases. Due to this, I began working with the US Trustee's office to assist on helping to thwart fraud cases. I am a hands on person/leader/learner and I always want to make sure that I understand everything that I am asking other people to do and that I am doing. Therefore, I learned to do everything in my office. If I asked the staff to be cross-trained, I was going to be cross-trained. Therefore, I can process every step of a foreclosure, eviction and bankruptcy and I can draft litigation pleadings. I can also work within every client portal. As the industry began to change, my role began to change and I moved from department management to overall firm management. With that change I also started overseeing all firm compliance. I wrote all the firm's policies and procedures. I developed and implement a firm quality assurance department. I also became the director of human resources. When my prior firm expanded into more states, I opened those offices and made sure that they were in compliance with each state's requirements. I am the one to answer all client audit questionnaires, electronic, virtual, or in person. I currently sit on several industry association committees and am in leadership positions within those committees. I write articles for industry publications and attend industry conferences. I have also spoken at industry events. I love this industry and community as it has been home for almost 4 decades. My son is grown, married and has two dogs of his own. I am patiently waiting for grandbabies.
