Responsible for the analysis of NASDAQ OMX options products in relation to order flow and pricing volatility. Compared in house products to industry wide products to forecast pricing decisions and the impact each decision will have on the Exchange’s share and revenue. Routinely reported directly to the Executive Management team.-Tracked industry wide changes in pricing changes and the impacts those changes had on each Exchange.-Conducted conference calls with regulatory authorities regarding the way data sets can be interpreted and mined in order to optimize the way the Exchange gathered information.-Analyzed and reported the findings to Executives within the company for further decision making.-Acted as a point person for the company and regulatory authorities for any volume and pricing related information.

Responsible for conducting both on site and off site examinations (audits) of member broker-dealers for which NASDAQ OMX PHLX, Inc. (the former Philadelphia Stock Exchange, Inc.), a subsidiary of NASDAQ OMX, is the Designated Examining Authority. -Tracked firm's equity totals to ensure compliance with operating capital requirements.-Conducted broker-dealer financial examinations to ensure prevailing exchange, SEC and GAAP rules and regulations were being followed; chiefly responsible for hedge funds, day trading firms, and proprietary trading firms.-Recorded financial filings on a monthly or annual basis for current member firms.-Learned key regulatory and financial information which has given me greater insight into broker-dealer Compliance.-Gained familiarity with exchange & SEC rule filing processes.
