CurrentDUAL North America is one of the largest independent underwriting organizations in the US with over 25 unique programs across commercial property, casualty, and financial lines.• Interface with all levels of employees including executives and senior leaders to provide full-service human resource management for 675 employees across two operating entities.• Manage off-boarding activities; ensure appropriate processes are in place, track and maintain, recommend improvements to processes when needed.• Address all employee questions by counselling or coaching through specific concerns.• Oversee action planning coming out of employee engagement and pulse surveys.• Coordinate and distribute information on all staff matters, including managing mandatory training announcements and tracking; Remain up to date on staff policy and process changes.• Run annual compensation, performance review, succession planning, talent review, promotion and job leveling processes.• Administer all benefits and retirement programs working directly with benefits broker and 401(k) administrator.• Oversee and administer leave requests and accommodations requiring specialized attention, e.g., the Family and Medical Leave Act (FMLA), the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), state and local leave laws, and short-term or long-term disability plans.• Act as a coach and trusted advisor to senior leaders on all things people-related such as performance management and coaching, diversity and inclusion, employee relations, compliance, talent development and change management.• Prepare all necessary documentation for annual 401(k) and Workers Compensation audits, including census, participant data and payroll samples, and liaison directly with auditors and 401(k) administrator.
