While at AVMA PLIT, I arranged over 60 speaking events with universities in the United States and internationally. Events required daily communication with university deans, students and administrators. In addition to these speaking events, I also planned four conferences a year for our top executives and over 100 important business associates and clients. During these events I worked directly with companies such as the Intercontinental Hotel Chicago and the JW Marriott Chicago to name a few. While I was not planning events I was composing, editing, and distributing press releases containing prudent company and industry information to over 50,000 of our company’s stakeholders. I also worked in conjunction with our client’s executives to develop new promotions and implement new strategies in order to grow new business and increase sales.
