I have been an educator of children and adults in various capacities in Minnesota, Alabama, and Kansas for over 11 years. I have taught students of all ages in public schools (Pre-K through high school), community organizations, and at the university level. During my time in higher education, I mentored undergraduate education majors via classes and laboratory settings in preparation for their student internships. I developed and implemented new standards-based curriculum for a Pre-K enrichment program over 3 years. I served as the university liaison for state conferences and assisted those conferences by aiding keynote speakers, monitoring and addressing technical needs, as well as delegating and organizing student assistance. Additionally, my original research on multicultural education has been presented at both state and national conferences.
